I just love shooting at Salon Cymru- & Salon Cymru 2016 was no exception! It’s been about 5 or 6 years since I joined the team to photograph & record the event & every year I am consistently amazed at the talent I see.

This year we had a new venue- Y Plas, the Cardiff students union on Park Place. I must say it is a great venue & I liked the look of it to shoot some funky fashion images with all the colour backgrounds & textures everywhere!

The hair stylists, hairdressers make up artists & barbers all worked so hard preparing for the competition & it is just amazing to have them in our mobile photography studio for some headshots & hair & beauty photography. As always due to the numbers I don’t get very long to shoot the individual & models etc but its fantastic to see the results on our large iMac screen immediately & to see their faces as they view the images!
